This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Supervise the procurement activities across the portfolio of sites on a client account.
• Manage the global procurement relationship with clients, account management teams, vendors, C&W Corporate, and other stakeholders.
• Execute programs and initiatives to meet objectives, metrics, and KPIs.
• Analyze spending, vendor performance, operations, and processes across the account to uncover value-creation opportunities.
• Formulate and implement procurement strategies.
• Develop and manage complex RFPs, evaluate responses, conduct negotiations, and employ various techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
• Interpret contracts, negotiate terms with vendors, and uphold contractual record retention protocols.
• Provide guidance to management on contractual rights, obligations, resource utilization, and legal matters.
• Oversee tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance checks for service contracts.
• Implement C&W best practices, policies, processes, tools, templates, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with Category Managers and preferred suppliers.
• Participate in and lead meetings.
• Create and distribute reports.
• Assess supplier performance and address any quality, delivery, or service-related issues.
• Work with finance and operations teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Utilize AI-driven analytics for resource allocation, workload forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Employ machine learning models to generate supplier scorecards, analyze performance trends, and anticipate potential issues.
• Resolve client concerns regarding supplier performance and quality.
• Manage personnel and roles with direct reporting lines.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, preferably in facility services or a similar area.
• Familiarity with Strategic Sourcing processes.
• Proven proficiency with e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems.
• Legal expertise and the capability to draft/negotiated agreements and amendments.
• Ability to explain contract details to clients clearly.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of evaluating and interpreting information, data, and related documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work independently to identify solutions.
• Detail-oriented with robust analytical capabilities.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead both direct and indirect reporting structures.
