Senior Manager – Global Business Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the global business systems strategy and roadmap for essential applications.

• Lead a team comprising business systems analysts, architects, administrators, and technical leads.

• Collaborate with executives and business leaders to pinpoint technology opportunities and enhance processes.

• Supervise the implementation, enhancement, integration, and support of enterprise applications.

• Manage global business systems projects, along with their priorities, budgets, and resources.

• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for enterprise systems.

• Promote the adoption of automation, analytics, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and compliance of systems.

• Cultivate relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.

• Develop KPIs and performance metrics to assess business value and operational effectiveness.

• Lead change management, communication, and user adoption efforts for strategic initiatives.

• Set priorities and create roadmaps for enterprise business systems.

• Approve enhancements, integrations, and technology solutions for business systems.

• Make decisions regarding resource allocation and staffing within approved budgets.

• Define governance standards, support models, and operational processes.

• Recommend investments in enterprise applications and strategies for modernization.

• Influence transformations in business processes and initiatives for digital innovation.

• Escalate any significant financial, security, compliance, or enterprise architecture risks.

• Act as the primary leader and decision-maker for the global business systems portfolio of the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in supporting enterprise business applications.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or business technology functions.

• Experience in leading global or multi-regional business systems environments.

• Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, and HRIS enterprise platforms.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in MBA, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field.

• Preferred: Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum, or Change Management.

• Preferred: Experience in leading digital transformation and enterprise modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms.

• Proficient in business process optimization, IT business partnership, program and portfolio management, digital transformation, data and analytics strategy, AI and automation enablement, vendor and contract management, financial and budget management, change management, cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and strategic planning.
