This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform disjointed processes and systems across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Compliance into a cohesive, scalable operational framework.
• Take ownership of the corporate functions systems roadmap and backlog.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of systems, stakeholders, vendors, contracts, integrations, data flows, workflows, dependencies, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Suggest priorities based on business impact, employee experience, risk, effort, and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional discovery efforts, translating business challenges into requirements, process maps, decision points, solution alternatives, and future-state designs.
• Create workflows that minimize manual tasks, eliminate duplicate efforts, enhance reconciliation, ensure consistent decision-making, and clarify ownership.
• Engineer data, event, and action flows between HRIS, finance and accounting, legal, compliance, and related enterprise systems.
• Define integration and workflow automation requirements and collaborate with Data Engineering and reporting teams on operational data movement.
• Oversee initiatives from discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, to adoption and outcome measurement.
• Manage scope, plans, dependencies, risks, decisions, stakeholder communications, work packages, requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate shared delivery resources, offer coaching, assess quality, and accept completed work.
• Execute targeted configurations, low-code workflows and automation, reporting, data cleanup, imports, and reconciliation.
• Organize and manage user acceptance testing, release preparedness, documentation, training, and adoption efforts.
• Ensure break-fix issues, access, security, compliance, and data pipeline tasks are directed to the appropriate owners.
• Act as the functional systems lead for the corporate functions portfolio.
• Assess platform capabilities and vendor offerings, guiding implementation and organizational change.
• Oversee vendor and implementation partner performance, usage, licensing, contracts, and renewals.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, Data Engineering, Information Security, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and application administrators.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, technology, finance, operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in business systems, enterprise applications, business analysis, solution design, operations technology, or a comparable role.
• A proven track record of transforming complex, fragmented, cross-functional processes into scalable, well-managed solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience in owning a systems roadmap or backlog and leading multi-system initiatives from discovery through to adoption and measurement.
• Strong functional expertise with HRIS and finance or accounting platforms.
• Preferred experience with payroll and benefits, ERP, procurement, contract lifecycle management, or legal and compliance systems.
• Familiarity with designing integrations and workflow automation.
• Experience in leading vendors or implementation partners.
• Experience in participating in contract and renewal negotiations.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or another regulated environment.
• Strategic and systems-oriented thinking that connects business outcomes, processes, data, controls, and technology.
• Strong skills in cross-functional discovery, facilitation, requirements definition, process mapping, and solution design.
• Ability to navigate between executive-level roadmaps and detailed execution, influence without formal authority, and take ownership of outcomes achieved through other teams and partners.
• Working knowledge of integration patterns, source-of-truth design, data quality, reconciliation, and enterprise analytics environments.
• Proficient in vendor and commercial judgment, project leadership, prioritization, release coordination, documentation, training, and change management.
