This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in Starface’s budgeting procedures and oversee rolling forecasts, collaborating with various teams throughout the organization to create and validate assumptions.
• Manage budget-to-actual reporting and conduct variance analysis, pinpointing key performance drivers and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, incorporating scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis to aid in forecasting, strategic planning, and business decision-making.
• Develop stronger cross-functional Finance connections and reinforce planning and financial discipline in decision-making processes.
• Lead and enhance Finance’s involvement in the S&OP process, aligning financial forecasts with operational and commercial strategies.
• Support management reporting by conveying financial performance, outlook changes, and the underlying drivers.
• Collaborate with the broader Finance team to assist with month-end closing reviews and audits.
• Enhance and automate FP&A processes and reporting, including budget-to-actual reviews within NetSuite.
• Analyze retail versus DTC economics, promotional ROI, and the profitability of new products and collaborations to guide margin and growth strategies.
• Take ownership of key FP&A deliverables and meetings while refining tools, processes, and analyses.
• 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related financial role.
• Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting, including scenario modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis.
• Experience working within a dynamic, complex business environment and managing various financial and operational drivers.
• Highly analytical and metrics-focused, demonstrating strong judgment and the ability to convert data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent cross-functional partnership abilities, with a knack for building relationships, influencing decisions, and navigating diverse perspectives.
• Comfortable balancing strategic thought with practical execution and taking responsibility for key deliverables.
• Adaptable and solution-oriented, capable of quickly grasping existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Clear and effective communicator, especially in translating complex financial information for various audiences.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or another analytically demanding environment, and/or an MBA is a plus.
