This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and facilitate both live and remote training sessions for the WiSE System, catering to internal and external participants.

• Play a key role in the design, development, and ongoing improvement of training materials, curriculum, and certification pathways.

• Supervise the onboarding process and skill development for new field and in-house staff.

• Lead knowledge and skills assessments, resulting in certification, continued training, or remediation recommendations.

• Oversee training for physicians, clinical specialists, and commercial teams through in-person procedural support, virtual training, and structured educational sessions.

• Facilitate physician proctoring and live procedural instruction.

• Manage a small team of technical and clinical subject matter experts focused on WiSE System implants, device follow-ups, and clinical investigations.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to field operations staff during procedures.

• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and sales teams on messaging, product positioning, and product launches.

• Serve as a liaison between field teams and internal stakeholders to refine training strategies.

• Evaluate and enhance training programs using performance metrics, trainee feedback, and evolving clinical best practices.

• Mentor Field Clinical Specialists and other training staff.

• Assist the Director of Training in developing scalable learning materials.

• Work closely with medical affairs, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure training content complies with FDA and other regulations.

• Support off-site physician education programs, hands-on cadaver labs, and KOL training events.

• Provide field insights for product development, clinical trial protocols, and future training strategies.

• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and professional education forums.

• Supervise training personnel.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing, or a related field (or equivalent clinical experience).

• At least 12 years of experience in the medical device industry, specifically within Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and/or Electrophysiology (EP).

• Strong background in supporting implantable cardiac device procedures and mentoring field team members.

• Experience in managing or mentoring a team of individual contributors.

• Proficiency in group presentations and hands-on experience with Cardiac Rhythm Management products.

• Previous experience in developing training curriculum and implementing structured onboarding programs.

• Experience supporting the commercial launch of new and innovative implantable cardiac devices.

• Familiarity with abdominal surgical techniques.

• Knowledge of FDA-regulated training materials and industry-standard educational practices.

• In-depth understanding of cardiac medical devices, implant procedures requiring surgical techniques, and cardiac device therapy strategies.

• Ability to design and manage multi-modal learning solutions, including cadaver and animal labs, digital learning, and LMS-driven pathways.

• Capacity to collaborate with sales, clinical, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Comfortable utilizing training metrics and performance analytics.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
