This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Define and implement the long-term vision and strategy for Paragon Micro's Federal Services Practice.
β’ Create, scale, and oversee the Federal Services delivery organization.
β’ Establish standardized methodologies for services, templates, pricing models, and operational processes.
β’ Develop annual strategic plans and initiatives for growth.
β’ Recruit, mentor, and retain a team of consulting engineers, solution architects, project managers, and technical specialists.
β’ Create career paths, training programs, certification strategies, and leadership development opportunities.
β’ Ensure effective utilization and workforce planning for delivery resources.
β’ Build and manage a nationwide network of cleared subcontractors and specialized Federal service providers.
β’ Cultivate relationships with OEM professional services organizations and implementation partners.
β’ Assess partner capabilities, performance, and capacity; negotiate subcontracting and preferred delivery partnerships.
β’ Increase services revenue through product-sales attachment, staff augmentation, resident engineering, managed services, and professional services.
β’ Develop offerings that support infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, collaboration, networking, data center, and emerging technologies.
β’ Assist Sales, Capture, Proposal Teams, and Solution Architects in Federal pursuits.
β’ Create labor strategies, staffing plans, transition approaches, and delivery methodologies for proposals.
β’ Review Statements of Work, staffing assumptions, pricing strategies, and technical delivery plans.
β’ Participate in customer presentations, technical discussions, oral presentations, and executive briefings.
β’ Establish delivery standards, governance, quality assurance, and operational metrics.
β’ Enhance customer satisfaction and address executive-level delivery challenges and escalations.
β’ Manage budgets, forecasts, utilization targets, services gross margin, subcontractor costs, pricing strategies, dashboards, and KPIs.
β’ Build a scalable and profitable Federal Services Practice, enhancing delivery quality, utilization, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
β’ Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
β’ SCI eligibility is strongly preferred.
β’ 15+ years of experience in leading Federal IT services organizations supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, and Civilian agencies.
β’ Proven success in building and scaling a Federal Professional Services Practice within a VAR, systems integrator, OEM, or Federal contractor.
β’ Demonstrated experience in recruiting, developing, and leading consulting engineers, solution architects, project managers, and technical delivery teams.
β’ Experience in developing nationwide subcontractor networks and strategic delivery partnerships.
β’ Experience in supporting both project-based professional services and long-term staffing ("butts in seats") engagements.
β’ Experience in assisting Capture, Proposal, and Business Development organizations with Federal opportunities.
β’ Strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and acquisition processes.
β’ Experience in managing operational performance, utilization, services gross margin, forecasting, and financial planning.
β’ Exceptional executive communication and customer relationship skills.
β’ Willingness to travel as required.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen.
β’ Preferred: Experience with major Federal contract vehicles including SEWP, ITES, GSA MAS, or similar GWACs and IDIQs.
β’ Preferred: Experience leading services organizations that support Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, VMware, HPE, NVIDIA, Palo Alto Networks, or comparable enterprise technologies.
β’ Preferred: Possession of relevant technical certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CCIE, Azure, AWS, or others.
β’ Preferred: Experience in developing managed services organizations.
β’ Preferred: Experience in integrating AI-driven automation and modern service delivery methodologies into consulting organizations.
