This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with Clinical Study Team Leads, Participant Recruitment, GSSO roles, and Clinical Leads to ensure the predictable delivery of Pfizer’s portfolio.
• Deliver rapid, precise, and comprehensive evaluations of program and protocol feasibility, recruitment enrollment assumptions, and site strategy plans.
• Create country, site, and enrollment study plans utilizing data-driven estimates, benchmarking, competitive intelligence, indication knowledge, and both internal and external data.
• Lead the selection of countries and sites for Pre Trial Assessment and oversee the endorsement of sites for PTA.
• Act as the OARS primary contact for evidence-based study assumptions, country and site strategy, enrollment scenarios, and protocol optimization.
• Assist in enrollment strategy through participant recruitment and evaluate modifications to the strategy.
• Implement and document country and site intelligence throughout the entire study lifecycle.
• Provide initial feasibility assessments, preliminary enrollment timelines, potential country footprints, and critical enrollment assumptions.
• Identify opportunities for protocol optimization leveraging real-world data, insights from investigators and patients, protocol simulations, and cross-functional feedback.
• Adapt the country footprint, enrollment assumptions, and site classification strategy during the final protocol and start-up phases.
• Support the development of the investigator database, define ideal sites, identify potential sites, and gather global site intelligence.
• Lead outreach for feasibility, engagement, response reviews, and contribute strategically to decision-making processes.
• Analyze outreach and evidence to propose country and site strategies.
• Provide site analytics encompassing patient volume, clinical trial diversity, competition, site overlap, and factors driving performance.
• Create strategic scenarios to enhance site footprint and enrollment timelines.
• Collaborate with CD&O, RU, and BU teams to enhance study start-up and recruitment cycle-time metrics.
• Achieve agreed KPIs for assigned protocols.
• Advocate for process improvements, innovative strategies, and advancements in clinical trial technologies.
• Maintain relationships across platform lines, Business Units/Research Units, and enabling lines.
• Sustain a portfolio-aligned living library of knowledge and regular assessments of comparator studies and trial metrics.
• Analyze program- and indication-level real-world data, standards of care, recruitment rates, and disease prevalence.
• Gather intelligence on preferred sites and assess overlapping or naive sites for selection.
• Evaluate decentralized clinical trial applications and suggest suitable DCT strategies.
• Compile knowledge libraries for Pfizer’s early-stage portfolio and identify internal/external data requirements for emerging indications.
• BS / RN / MS with 7 years of relevant experience.
• PhD / MD with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of drug development and global country and site feasibility.
• Familiarity with clinical study start-up and business operations.
• Experience in clinical research, particularly in clinical trial conduct.
• Knowledge of GCP, study/project management, monitoring, clinical, and regulatory operations.
• Proven success in a customer service role and meeting customer expectations.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient presentation and facilitation skills.
• Skills in strategic planning, analytical thinking, operational execution, and problem-solving.
• Exceptional business consultancy skills, including persuasion, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Capacity to multitask under tight deadlines across multiple projects.
• Ability to synthesize key messages from various data sets.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not currently available and will not be available in the future.
