Senior Manager, Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy, planning, and implementation of a fundraising portfolio exceeding $400,000.

• Increase revenue through engagement with donors, sponsors, and volunteer leadership.

• Provide exceptional event experiences.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to meet revenue objectives and enhance engagement.

• Direct the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, budgeting, vendor management, and overall experience delivery.

• Formulate and implement strategies to boost revenue, participation, and the donor pipeline within the designated portfolio.

• Connect event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities.

• Assess performance against objectives and modify strategies to maximize revenue and return on investment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure successful event execution and brand consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of successful experience in fundraising and relationship development.

• Proven track record of driving revenue through relationship-building and volunteer engagement.

• Excellent project management and event execution abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.

• Strong focus on customer and donor experience.

• Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet objectives.

• Comprehensive understanding of community and constituent engagement.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and work with others to achieve desired outcomes.

• Travel requirements vary based on portfolio assignment and event staffing model.

• Must be available for evening and weekend meetings, events, and programs, either remotely or in-person, depending on portfolio assignment.

• Some lifting may be required during event setup activities.
