This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee AssetMark's enterprise events function, managing the event portfolio, planning framework, operational processes, and execution standards.
• Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of event leads.
• Define roles, responsibilities, accountability, standardized processes, templates, project plans, and operating rhythms.
• Lead the prioritization of portfolios and resource planning across the event calendar.
• Implement project management practices, including milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Sales, Product, Executive Leadership, Finance, Procurement, Brand, and Experience Design teams.
• Align event strategy, attendee experience, brand representation, messaging, and environmental design.
• Manage the annual corporate events budget for marquee, series, and sponsored events.
• Create budget planning, forecasting, tracking, and reporting procedures.
• Monitor event investments, optimize costs, negotiate efficiencies, and enhance return on investment.
• Implement portfolio-level reporting to measure event performance, attendee outcomes, budget utilization, and business impact.
• Foster strategic relationships with agencies, production partners, venues, and key vendors.
• Assess vendor selection, contract strategy, and partner performance.
• Work with Procurement to enhance sourcing strategies and vendor partnerships.
• Enhance team operations through retrospective reviews, process optimization, and knowledge sharing.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in leading corporate events, experiential marketing, or event operations.
• More than 5 years of experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise event portfolios, including marquee conferences, executive meetings, and sponsored industry events.
• Experience in managing complex budgets and collaborating with Finance and Procurement.
• Demonstrated capability in leading an enterprise corporate events function and overseeing a diverse portfolio of large-scale events.
• Established ability to create scalable operational processes and drive organizational change.
• Strong financial expertise with experience managing multi-million-dollar event budgets, forecasting, and portfolio reporting.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience in closely partnering with the Brand team to ensure cohesive attendee experiences.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Data-driven decision-maker who leverages event metrics and business outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with project management platforms (Wrike or similar) and CRM/event technologies.
• Preferred experience in financial services.
• CMP certification is a plus.
• Active involvement in industry associations is advantageous.
• Approximately 30% travel is expected to support key events throughout the year.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the US.
