This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and spearhead the enterprise event strategy and portfolio.
• Prioritize initiatives and align events with both corporate and business unit objectives.
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop leadership meetings, conferences, employee experiences, customer events, and other programs.
• Oversee the complete event execution process, encompassing strategy, concept development, planning, production, logistics, on-site execution, post-event evaluation, and ongoing improvements.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of event planners.
• Establish the team's vision, operating model, priorities, and standards.
• Foster talent development and enforce accountability.
• Manage event budgets and ensure financial performance.
• Handle forecasts and expenditures while optimizing investments.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain disciplined financial oversight.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and governance involving communications, business units, executive offices, legal, procurement, accounting, IT, AV, security, and other stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, venues, and production partners.
• Implement performance measurement and analytics practices.
• Assess event effectiveness, business impact, and return on investment.
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Associate Communications.
• Supervise 4–5 direct reports.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in corporate events, experiential marketing, meetings, or a related field.
• Significant responsibility for managing large, complex programs.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale events and executive experiences, including C-suite meetings, leadership conferences, customer events, and major corporate gatherings.
• Strong financial and operational management expertise.
• Proven track record of managing substantial budgets.
• Experience in vendor and agency management.
• Proficient in contract negotiation.
• Knowledge in risk management.
• Capability to demonstrate business impact and ROI.
• Experience in a large, complex corporate environment, such as a Fortune 500 organization or agency partner.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, based on the number of events held annually.
• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet connectivity.
