This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to enterprise business systems and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to assess business needs and provide scalable technology solutions.
• Oversee the enterprise applications roadmap, ensuring systems are up-to-date, secure, and aligned with business goals.
• Work together with IT, business teams, and vendors to plan and execute system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
• Assist in budget planning, vendor management, contract negotiations, and maintaining software licensing compliance.
• Supervise application governance, change management, and system documentation processes.
• Deliver hands-on application administration and support, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating urgent resolutions.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a global, geographically dispersed environment.
• Promote end-user adoption through training, support, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline the application landscape by removing duplicate systems and enhancing overall efficiency.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert for enterprise applications, including JD Edwards, ensuring optimal system performance, optimization, and business value.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology with responsibilities covering enterprise applications and business systems.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing enterprise-wide applications in a complex business environment.
• Strong background with JD Edwards ERP and associated business processes.
• High technical aptitude across SaaS and enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and application governance.
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, competing priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• A demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting global organizations and geographically distributed teams is preferred.
