Senior Manager, eCommerce Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior leader within agile teams, responsible for the stability and advancement of the AEM and SAP Commerce Cloud eCommerce platform.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the eCommerce ecosystem, including content, catalog, search, checkout, and order management.

• Collect, document, and confirm business and functional requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Facilitate solution design and architectural discussions with Business Partners, Product Owners, and system integrators.

• Provide strategic guidance encompassing requirements, solution design, development supervision, testing, and deployment governance.

• Take ownership and influence the roadmap for eCommerce products and technologies.

• Promote alignment between business, IT, and external partners for integrated solutions across enterprise platforms.

• Supervise complex system integrations and platform dependencies involving ERP, PIM, middleware, search, and backend systems.

• Establish governance for development and delivery, focusing on code quality, version control, testing, and release management.

• Lead initiatives aimed at platform optimization and performance enhancement.

• Advocate for enhancement and defect intake, validation, and prioritization processes.

• Provide guidance to senior business and IT leadership regarding digital commerce trends, platform capabilities, and architecture.

• Mentor junior team members and technical contributors.

• Oversee production support and incident management, including root cause analysis, performance tuning, and monitoring.

• Develop and maintain technical design artifacts, standards, and reusable frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in eCommerce.

• 8 to 10 years of experience with digital commerce platforms.

• Proven experience in delivering scalable eCommerce solutions in B2B/B2C settings.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery models.

• Experience with integration of ERP, PIM, and middleware systems.

• Demonstrated leadership in complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of headless commerce and API integrations.

• Capability to guide solution architecture and technical decision-making.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts in terms of business value.

• Experience with DevOps, version control, and release management.

• Experience with AEM and SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) is preferred.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to work remotely as specified in the posting.
