
Senior Manager, Digital Product – Operational Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and take ownership of the product vision and roadmap for operational planning and demand generation.
• Create essential capabilities to forecast outreach demand, model supply and capacity, and reveal planning insights.
• Manage the development of an internal planning tool that visualizes outreach capacity and clinician availability.
• Define user experience, data requirements, and the foundational planning logic.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Analytics to deliver effective planning capabilities.
• Spearhead the creation of a recommendation engine that optimizes outreach and clinician capacity allocation across member populations.
• Ensure the reliability and interpretability of recommendation outputs, integrating them into planning and goal-setting processes.
• Ensure that outputs from the planning tool inform downstream systems that generate detailed clinician capacity plans.
• Specify integration requirements and uphold data integrity across various systems.
• Identify required data inputs and collaborate with Analytics, Finance, and Operations to maintain them throughout planning cycles.
• Build trust and alignment across matrixed cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Recognize user and business needs, facilitate tradeoff discussions, and negotiate priorities.
• Develop both short- and long-term roadmaps with defined success metrics.
• Communicate roadmap priorities and tradeoffs to the organization and senior leadership.
• Define, monitor, and report on operational planning KPIs.
• Convey complex analytical and planning concepts to peers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Synthesize model outputs and operational data into actionable insights.
• Manage dependencies across adjacent product domains and oversee stakeholder expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, a quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• Over 7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in product management.
• Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes in complex, end-to-end problem spaces across multiple systems and teams.
• Experience in demand forecasting, capacity modeling, or supply and demand optimization.
• Background in building or owning complex analytical models in a product or operational setting.
• Experience managing data-intensive product experiences, including visualization tools, planning interfaces, or user-facing analytical products.
• Comfort in partnering with design and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Ability to lead through influence within a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical, non-technical, and senior leadership audiences.
• Experience in building products in early-stage environments and transitioning from prototype to production.
• Familiarity with healthcare operations, outreach programs, or population health contexts.
• Experience collaborating with data science or analytics teams to productize forecasting models or convert algorithmic outputs into planning tools.
• Experience in developing internal operator tools.
• Experience designing or owning products that feed downstream systems or inform automated workflows.
• Knowledge of data pipeline and integration considerations.
• Experience incorporating AI or automation into forecasting, planning workflows, or capacity allocation recommendations.
• Ability to work independently in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
