This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead the organization’s data strategy and supervise a team of analysts.
• Provide consistent reporting and valuable insights for Life Science clients, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Automate, enhance, and expand the NPI-based reporting infrastructure.
• Perform claims-based analyses to pinpoint optimal audiences and evaluate impact.
• Create self-service reporting solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify scalable solutions for intricate Rx impact analyses grounded in claims data.
• Ensure high-quality reporting by leveraging efficiency, scalability, and cutting-edge technologies such as AI-supported tools.
• Oversee complex SQL and Python solutions, guiding the team on scalable best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL pipelines, data integrity, governance, and security protocols.
• Articulate complex analytics and business impacts to senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the analytics team while delivering multiple concurrent data projects.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Partner with leadership, external clients, and cross-functional teams to prioritize strategic data initiatives.
• Assess and implement emerging technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related area is highly preferred.
• Relevant certifications in SQL, business intelligence tools, or data strategy are preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure.
• Extensive technical expertise and thorough knowledge in Life Science sponsored messaging.
• Proven experience managing complex data initiatives and delivering insights that impact business.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex database schemas, CTEs, window functions, and optimization of queries for large datasets.
• Advanced data wrangling skills, including automated data cleaning, management of large datasets, feature engineering, and data normalization.
• Proficient in data visualization, encompassing custom visualizations, geospatial visualizations, and interactive dashboards.
• Strong statistical knowledge, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and ANOVA.
• Experience in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization.
• Strong programming skills using advanced techniques and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Significant knowledge of the healthcare domain.
• Willingness to travel to office locations or client sites as required.
• Adherence to company policies, required training, information security and compliance programs, SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, business rules, ethics, and applicable laws.
