This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Analyze data to assist business teams in making well-informed, data-driven decisions.
β’ Utilize data to craft narratives that non-technical colleagues can easily comprehend, ensuring findings are packaged and presented clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
β’ Manage the development and upkeep of vital operational and analytical dashboards, updating and improving them as user needs change.
β’ Develop models and tools that yield pertinent insights aimed at identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
β’ Collaborate across the organization to pinpoint actions for enhancement and track the impact of initiatives.
β’ Provide support for other strategic projects as needed to fulfill business objectives.
β’ Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Report to the Manager, SIU Data Analytics & Reporting.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of technical work experience utilizing analytical tools and crafting analytical reports.
β’ At least 1 year of proven ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into relevant insights through a structured and systematic thought process.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills regarding business reporting impact and requirements, as evidenced by experience on at least 2 reporting projects that required communication between technical and non-technical users.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, capable of filtering, aggregating, and constructing CTEs, or expertise in R or Python, including experience with Pandas, for loops, and statistical testing.
β’ Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel, including VLookup, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare, finance, or insurance sector.
β’ Bonus: Over 1 year of experience in preparing healthcare analytics and reporting.
β’ Bonus: More than 1 year of experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization (ACO, CIN, MSO).
β’ Bonus: Over 1 year of experience developing dashboards and utilizing Looker or other business intelligence/data visualization tools.
β’ Bonus: Familiarity with healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and/or population health experience.
