Senior Manager, Cyber Security – Cloud, AI Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Formulate the information security strategy, roadmaps, and technological direction in collaboration with leadership.

• Direct change management, resource planning, and initiatives impacting the current security framework.

• Create a continuous program for identifying threats and enhancing security measures.

• Oversee the development, improvement, and monitoring of Information Security teams and technologies.

• Design intricate solutions and process enhancements to address escalated information security challenges.

• Ensure adherence to relevant requirements and service standards.

• Set and track expectations to meet company and departmental objectives.

• Revise team policies, procedures, and efficiencies to align with goals.

• Manage performance, training, and assessment of assigned personnel.

• Potentially supervise budgeting or vendor management activities.

• Serve as a consultative security resource for technological programs and team members.

• Establish information security standards and procedures.

• Offer training, coaching, and mentorship to foster security awareness and safeguard Bank assets.

• Build and lead Cloud Security and AI Security functions along with the engineering team.

• Promote secure innovation and security outcomes across AWS, Azure, and emerging AI/ML platforms and use cases.

• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent with 12 years of experience in Information security or technology.

• Over 5 years of experience managing technical security teams.

• More than 10 years of Engineering experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience securing AWS and Azure environments at an enterprise level.

• Practical experience in implementing Cloud IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring, and logging.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), Policy-as-Code, and Automation.

• Proven track record in securing AI/ML workloads.

• Experience with cloud security tools, posture management, and controls development.

• Container security expertise with EKS, ECS, Openshift, and AKS, including posture management and scanning.

• Knowledge of SaaS Platform Security and posture management principles.

• Understanding of threat modeling, risk management, and secure architecture principles.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing senior technical and business leaders.

• Experience in securing GenAI platforms, LLMs, or AI-enabled applications.

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or CCSP.

• Experience in regulated environments like financial services, healthcare, or large-scale technology is preferred.

• A background in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE is also preferred.
