This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation of curriculum, educational materials, digital learning initiatives, and instructional programs for Milady, the beauty and wellness division of Cengage.

• Ensure that instructional content is pedagogically sound, engaging, accessible, and aligned with industry trends, state standards, and licensing requirements.

• Collaborate with partners, industry specialists, educators, licensing authorities, technology teams, and product teams.

• Oversee, mentor, and provide support to Content Managers, Learning Designers, and Content Editors.

• Enhance team capabilities, standards, and processes for improved content reuse, scalability, consistency, and market readiness.

• Set and uphold instructional quality standards.

• Review and enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.

• Create assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate curriculum impact and effectiveness.

• Represent and promote educational offerings at industry events, conferences, and digital platforms.

• Lead curriculum development initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• Allocate resources effectively and manage timelines, budgets, and workloads.

• Integrate e-learning tools, multimedia content, and analytics into the curriculum.

• Identify trends and advancements in beauty education and educational technology.

• Establish ongoing user feedback mechanisms and adapt curriculum based on data insights and learner needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in curriculum design, instructional leadership, or content development.

• Ideally experienced in EdTech, adult education, or the beauty/wellness sector.

• Proficient in instructional design and principles of adult learning.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Proven track record of cultivating high-performing teams.

• Exceptional project management capabilities.

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and oversee complex projects.

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS).

• Preferred Master’s degree.
