This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Design and implement analytics to uncover emerging trends and behaviors in credit risk.
• Suggest modifications to credit strategies based on both quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as Risk Appetite and business goals.
• Oversee and provide data, reporting, and analysis for the Indirect business.
• Enhance processes and analytical methodologies.
• Create presentations to convey results to key stakeholders and relevant forums.
• Supervise the reporting and monitoring of credit quality, operations, and performance metrics.
• Assist with regulatory programs, governance, controls, and compliance for applicable risk types.
• Counsel senior leadership on strategy, initiatives, regulations, and risk-related issues.
• Manage complex risk programs, frameworks, projects, and initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry and legislative changes and adjust programs accordingly.
• Analyze regulatory requirements to identify and address gaps and issues.
• Develop and implement internal control systems and risk management programs.
• Lead strategic initiatives, change management efforts, and operational programs.
• Ensure first-line adherence to established processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain business procedures, controls, and sustainment strategies.
• Monitor exceptions and exemptions while facilitating training.
• Provide quality control for investigations, self-reports, examinations, and independent reviews.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations, and formulate remediation action plans.
• Foster risk awareness and advocate for a culture of risk identification and management.
• Conduct self-assessments, risk remediation, measurement, reporting, and periodic program evaluations.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the business in governance and risk forums.
• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
