This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary operational link between Ollie and its manufacturing partners.
• Oversee strategic partnerships and daily operations at co-manufacturing facilities.
• Lead contract negotiations, monitor and evaluate KPIs, conduct regular performance assessments, and implement process enhancements.
• Synchronize procurement, inventory, quality, and engineering priorities with the operations of manufacturing partners.
• Ensure that inventory availability and production capacity align with subscription growth and operational objectives.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to uphold food safety, human-grade standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify, assess, negotiate with, and onboard new contract manufacturing facilities.
• Work alongside engineering leadership to improve line scaling, technical throughput, and yield optimization.
• Manage unit economics, standard costs, price variances, and vendor contracts.
• Oversee the scope, timelines, deliverables, goals, budgets, and sourcing options for commercialization projects.
• Establish, monitor, and report manufacturing KPIs to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract manufacturing, co-pack management, or plant operations within the food or pet food industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating terms with, and onboarding new manufacturing partners.
• Experience in managing manufacturing capacity, production planning, and evaluating manufacturing partner performance against operational KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams with external plant management.
• Solid technical knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and human-grade food manufacturing practices.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, proficient in ERP systems, supply planning, and yield metrics.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% for plant visits, audits, and partner onboarding initiatives.
• Experience in pet food manufacturing and/or within a dynamic, high-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand is highly preferred.
