
Senior Manager, Compensation – Product and Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders across Product and Technology, as well as related business units, working with regional compensation leads and HR teams to cultivate a global perspective on compensation.
• Spearhead strategic compensation initiatives that support the growth and transformation of the Product and Technology sectors, including engineering, data and insights, product, and experience design.
• Deliver analytics and insights to inform compensation decisions and ensure alignment with industry trends.
• Advocate for the development and enhancement of compensation expertise within the team through thought leadership and mentorship.
• Create and implement analyses to identify market fluctuations, evaluate data gaps, and propose solutions to attract candidates, while adhering to Netflix's philosophy of maintaining a leading market position.
• Collaborate with Talent Operations and Technology teams to develop and enhance metrics and dashboards.
• Engage in compensation surveys and utilize findings to inform Market Reference Ranges.
• Design tools and processes that cater to the unique compensation requirements of the Product and Technology divisions.
• Provide education and guidance to HR partners and business leaders regarding compensation strategy, programs, and best practices.
• Assist in the design and implementation of global compensation programs, which include pay equity, compensation reviews, job architecture, and workforce planning.
• Lead both ongoing and new strategic initiatives for the Content organization.
• Over 10 years of relevant compensation experience, preferably supporting the Technology sector in a dynamic, global environment.
• Proven ability to offer guidance and counsel to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior business leaders.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with experience handling large datasets and advanced modeling in Google Sheets or Excel.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for compensation and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience in navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing business requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of compensation design.
