This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a strategic commercial consultant for LOVB Pro teams, concentrating on ticketing and sponsorship effectiveness.
β’ Create and enhance sales strategies related to pricing, inventory control, sales sequencing, lead generation, customer retention, renewals, and acquisition.
β’ Evaluate ticketing and sponsorship performance across the League, including pacing, sales, attendance, gate receipts, pipelines, and commercial analytics.
β’ Set KPIs, benchmarks, dashboards, scorecards, forecasts, and performance reports for ticketing and sponsorship.
β’ Conduct in-depth analyses of ticketing and sponsorship strategies with teams, formulating actionable plans to monitor progress.
β’ Provide guidance on ticket sales staffing, sales methodologies, pipeline management, resource distribution, sponsorship packaging, pricing, positioning, category strategy, and prospecting.
β’ Identify effective strategies and develop scalable best practices, tools, templates, case studies, and resources.
β’ Diagnose commercial issues and propose practical, measurable action plans.
β’ Offer direct support during ticket sales launches, renewal campaigns, and significant sponsorship initiatives.
β’ Engage in market visits and collaborate with team commercial personnel.
β’ Lead League-wide ticketing and sponsorship working groups while supporting training and professional development efforts.
β’ Work in conjunction with League Marketing, Partnerships, Data & Analytics, Finance, Merchandise, Venue Operations, and additional functions.
β’ A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
β’ Over 7 years of pertinent experience in professional sports, entertainment, live events, or a similar commercial setting.
β’ Extensive experience in ticket sales, sponsorship sales/strategy, revenue strategy, or commercial operations, with deep knowledge in at least one area of ticketing or sponsorship.
β’ Proven experience in developing sales strategies, assessing pipelines, establishing KPIs, and measuring performance against revenue targets.
β’ Experience collaborating with senior business and commercial executives.
β’ Demonstrated ability to use commercial data and insights to impact business decisions and revenue outcomes.
β’ Strong expertise in professional sports ticketing, sponsorship, revenue strategy, or commercial operations.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of ticket sales, sponsorship sales, pipeline management, pricing, inventory, and revenue-generating strategies.
β’ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in working with commercial data, dashboards, forecasts, KPIs, and performance reporting.
β’ Ability to set benchmarks and simplify complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
β’ Proven capability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders without direct authority.
β’ Ability to function as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on problem solver.
β’ Outstanding communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize across various teams and workstreams.
β’ Experience with ticketing platforms, CRM systems, sponsorship pipeline tools, and commercial reporting systems is preferred.
