This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.
• Lead and enhance the firm's client experience infrastructure encompassing marketing technology, events, and analytics.
• Implement a cohesive, data-driven strategy for client engagement that supports business development, client relationships, and revenue expansion.
• Act as a strategic ally to the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer.
• Oversee the firm’s events operations and associated marketing technology aspects.
• Manage a growing, multi-functional team dedicated to optimizing client experiences and achieving operational excellence.
• Create and execute a unified client experience strategy within events and marketing technology.
• Ensure alignment of systems, programs, and investments with the firm’s overarching growth objectives.
• Integrate data, technology, and both in-person and virtual experiences to enhance client engagement.
• Convert business objectives into structured programs, processes, and quantifiable outcomes.
• Supervise mailing list strategy and management, focusing on segmentation, targeting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and external vendors to assess, implement, and enhance marketing technologies.
• Provide strategic oversight for internal and client event functions.
• Establish frameworks for event planning, execution, and follow-up after events.
• Evaluate event effectiveness, ROI, attendance, engagement, and contributions to business development.
• Develop dashboards and reports for client engagement and return on investment.
• Transform analytics into actionable insights and recommendations in collaboration with BD and practice teams.
• Offer strategic guidance, coaching, and performance management to direct reports.
• Define team roles, responsibilities, and operational models.
• Manage the Marketing & Business Development department budget to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work together with Business Development, Communications, IT, HR, and practice leadership.
• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees or certifications in marketing, business, or technology-related fields are preferred.
• 8–12+ years of experience in marketing, business development operations, marketing technology, events strategy, or similar roles.
• Preferably possess experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that involve technology, data, and client engagement programs.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems, marketing technology platforms, and data management practices.
• Experience in overseeing events strategy and aligning event programs with business development goals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, including multi-functional groups.
• Strong financial acumen, encompassing budget management and vendor oversight.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication skills, and executive presence.
• Ability to balance high-level strategy with effective operational execution.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with the capability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
• Discretion in managing confidential information.
