This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage client relationships, opportunity architecture, and the production pipeline for the Non-Traditional Business Development division.
• Act as the designated account lead and primary contact for assigned clients.
• Facilitate regular client meetings, create agendas, and oversee the health of account relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery of client updates and status reports that meet quality standards.
• Document and preserve transferable knowledge about clients.
• Oversee use-case architecture across division accounts.
• Transform qualified opportunities into structured outlines and response strategies.
• Provide recommendations on pursue/no-pursue decisions and define response frameworks.
• Approve response frameworks prior to the commencement of production.
• Supervise the daily activities of production analysts, technical writers, and contract personnel.
• Allocate scopes, deliverables, and timelines; review and return work for revisions as necessary.
• Manage the entire intake-to-delivery pipeline from shred review to final review handoff.
• Maintain templates and adhere to formatting standards.
• Monitor contractor utilization against scopes and budgets, and report discrepancies to the President.
• Collaborate with defense and civilian business development leads to qualify opportunities.
• Oversee pipeline progression from sourcing to packaged responses.
• Assist in federal, state, and local pursuits.
• Collaborate with the President for final review and closure of accounts.
• Ensure that accounts adhere to standard processes, coverage matrices, and RACI guidelines.
• Maintain documented procedures and backup coverage for account continuity.
• Proven experience in leading client relationships within government contracting.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local procurement processes, including opportunity qualification and response development.
• Demonstrated ability to structure and design written responses, use cases, and technical narratives.
• Experience in directing writers, analysts, and/or contract resources to meet specified quality standards.
• Strong written communication skills; capable of establishing high standards for client- and government-facing deliverables.
• Availability that aligns with client call schedules.
• Comfort with asynchronous hand-offs and providing clear written guidance.
• Prior experience in non-traditional or emerging-technology business development.
• Knowledge of distributed or offshore production support models.
• Existing connections within defense or federal civilian agencies.
