
Senior Manager, CFO Advisory – Strategic Finance, Interim Finance Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate advisory projects for portfolio companies supported by private equity.
• Serve as the interim finance leader for portfolio companies post-acquisition or carve-out.
• Evaluate and strengthen finance and accounting operations.
• Identify immediate gaps in resources, processes, and data.
• Act as the main point of contact between portfolio company operations teams and private equity sponsors.
• Create and implement driver-based financial models, rolling 13-week cash flow projections, and annual operating plans.
• Develop automated reporting packages and KPI dashboards for reviews by the Board of Directors and PE sponsors.
• Establish unit-level economics, cost-to-serve models, and margin analyses.
• Lead initiatives for data hygiene and prepare general ledger data for advanced FP&A reporting.
• Drive transformation of finance systems, including migrations from legacy accounting software to scalable ERPs such as NetSuite and Intacct.
• Implement business intelligence tools and automate reporting processes.
• Enhance and expedite the month-end closing process.
• Transition clients from cash-based to accrual accounting when necessary.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or financial advisory.
• Direct experience working with or advising private equity-backed firms.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger operations, and the accounting closing process.
• Capability to navigate trial balances and address accounting operational challenges.
• Proven experience in participating in or leading finance system implementations, data migrations, or reporting automation.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.
• High-level skills in extracting and manipulating substantial datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements and lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in conveying complex financial concepts to C-suite executives and private equity investors.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, fast-paced, and unstructured post-transaction environments.
