Senior Manager, Business Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy, implementation, and enhancement of essential finance systems.

• Initially concentrate on the NetSuite environment, with plans to expand into Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report systems.

• Establish the framework, vision, roles, responsibilities, and growth opportunities for the Finance Systems function.

• Define, construct, and refine finance-system processes, methodologies, and tools.

• Set benchmarks for system configuration, data management, integrations, and reporting.

• Create and uphold best practices for configuration, data integrity, user management, security, testing, and deployment.

• Manage and direct internal or external technical resources responsible for delivering NetSuite SuiteScript development, API integrations, and other technical solutions.

• Promote data-driven insights within the Finance department.

• Ensure that Finance has access to the data required for precise reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Accounting, Engineering, and Operations.

• Report directly to the Head of Finance Systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience managing or leading projects related to finance systems.

• At least 7 years of experience working with core finance systems.

• Extensive functional and process knowledge in areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement.

• Significant hands-on experience with the configuration and administration of NetSuite.

• Ideally, a working knowledge of SuiteScript and integrations.

• Strong comprehension of system integrations and data flows.

• Capability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications.

• Experience in implementing new finance systems or significantly scaling existing ones.

• Proven track record in defining long-term visions and executing tactical changes.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Engineering, and Operations.

• Experience in designing and implementing rigorous, consistent, and efficient finance workflows.

• NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus.

• Experience with finance systems related to Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report is a plus.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker or Hex is a plus.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
