Senior Business Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with mission and engineering leaders to create a system for managing customer deliveries related to 9-figure deals.

• Address capability gaps necessary for executing customer and product priorities.

• Develop essential business and operational systems along with streamlined processes to facilitate company scalability.

• Design and customize tools, processes, and AI agents across finance, customer delivery, recruiting, onboarding, HR, and vendor/contract management.

• Create systems that enable other functions to operate autonomously.

• Focus on senior and specialized roles, devising strategies to identify, attract, and hire talent.

• Collaborate with recruiting teams to implement hiring strategies and onboard outstanding employees.

• Formulate the business and operating model for a rapidly growing customer/mission area.

• Evaluate strategic investments and establish infrastructure to monitor strategic objectives.

• Identify ineffective processes and develop enhanced solutions.

• Work alongside finance and engineering teams to comprehend cost structures and enhance business performance and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5-10+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in executing and building new initiatives.

• Background in national security, management consulting, or a rapidly growing startup environment.

• Demonstrated experience in recruiting and building effective teams.

• Experience in scaling commercial and business operations.

• Proven track record of supporting new business growth.

• Ability to take ownership and work autonomously to achieve outcomes.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and exercise sound decision-making.

• Proficiency in designing lightweight and efficient processes and tools.

• Comfort with designing AI agents for ongoing business processes.

• Strong ability to execute cross-functional projects.

• Quick to build trust and credibility with senior leaders.
