
Senior Manager, Business Strategy – Canadian Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide subject matter expertise in business strategy related to Salesforce products and services throughout the sales and delivery cycles.
• Position and sell large-scale enterprise consulting engagements by defining the program scope, team, value narrative, and pitch.
• Identify future sales opportunities to enhance ongoing customer value.
• Perform research on customers, industries, and end-users to discover customer needs and experience-driven business opportunities.
• Conduct assessments and facilitate workshops aimed at developing future-state operating models and business visions.
• Identify improvements in enterprise business processes and operations.
• Transfer the pre-sales vision and value narrative into actionable delivery through a Phase 0 roadmap.
• Utilize AI tools in deliverables and activities.
• Create multi-year strategic roadmaps and strategic use cases for value modeling.
• Foster stakeholder alignment, engagement, and buy-in across various functions.
• Assist leaders in adopting digital operating models, governance strategies, and new operational methodologies.
• Promote solution and organizational adoption through the evolution of strategies and expedited delivery cycles.
• Integrate business value strategies into program delivery with program management teams.
• Identify and proactively manage risks until resolution is achieved.
• Mentor and develop Business Strategists and project team members.
• Act as an escalation point and guide team members during customer engagements.
• Support customer renewals and extensions as necessary.
• Enhance the Business Strategy capability within the Experience Services Competency.
• Share methodologies, offer guidance to peers, and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Lead internal strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.
• At least 8 years of industry experience in customer-facing roles leading complex, experience-driven engagements with substantial transformations.
• Experience in go-to-market support, including scoping, proposal development, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
• Proficient in pitching to C-suite executives, with strong skills in objection handling.
• Background in Business Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Agile, Program Governance, Experience Design, Change Management, and/or Value Realization.
• Experience with the application of AI tools in service delivery.
• Required knowledge of Salesforce products and solution design relevant to Public Sector organizations.
• Demonstrated experience with Canadian Government clients.
• Strong grasp of business value drivers and success metrics for large-enterprise Public Sector organizations.
• Capability to develop industry points of view, including the identification of market trends, responses, and solution offerings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong skills in workshop design and facilitation.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information, making well-founded recommendations in ambiguous situations.
• Proven track record of building customer relationships and collaborating across functions.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 25–30% of the time.
• Candidates must be Canadian citizens.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian Government Security Clearance.
• Eligibility to provide 5 years of verifiable work and residence history for Reliability Clearance, typically from within Canada.
• Eligibility to provide 10 years of verifiable work and residence history for Secret Clearance, generally from within Canada.
• Prosci® Change Management Certification is preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred.
• Salesforce Strategy Designer Certification is preferred.
• Salesforce Agentblazer Innovator or Agentblazer Legend Credential is preferred.
