This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Transform the Global AUEG Portfolio Strategy, Governance, and Process framework into execution-ready and scalable digital operating models.
• Act as an integrator and liaison among AUEG Capability, Digital Technology & Innovation, Artificial Intelligence & Data teams, and external partners.
• Lead the development and delivery of the cross-functional AUEG technology platform, AUGment.
• Direct the enhancement roadmap for the advancement of AUEG capabilities.
• Convert business priorities into scalable capabilities through business processes and technology.
• Oversee governance, performance metrics, and operating standards.
• Collaborate with AUEG leadership to enhance capabilities and boost performance.
• Promote continuous improvement via people, processes, technology, and data.
• Act as the business owner for AUGment and other integrated business enablement technologies.
• Manage business requirements, process design, user acceptance testing, deployment, and organizational adoption.
• Identify and spearhead opportunities involving AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Define the AUEG data strategy, roadmap, and business reporting framework.
• Establish business impact metrics, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Provide actionable portfolio insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Serve as the primary business partner to DTI and MD&A.
• Build collaborations across Medical, Technology, Data & Analytics, R&D, Global Markets & Policy, Commercialization, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption efforts.
• Identify business risks and implement strategies for mitigation.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing matrixed team responsible for operational support, reporting, platform administration, and business services.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of experience in business performance and digital enablement OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years OR Associate’s degree with 10 years OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in business performance and digital enablement.
• At least 2 years of experience in direct management of personnel and/or leadership experience in guiding teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation.
• An advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in leading business operations, business capability enablement, digital enablement, business performance, technology implementation, or business transformation within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
• Experience serving as a business owner or platform owner for enterprise technology platforms.
• Familiarity with process optimization, technology enablement, and operational excellence.
• Experience integrating business, technology, data, and AI capabilities to achieve measurable business results.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs, Evidence Generation, drug development, commercialization, and the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed organizations.
• Experience managing business operations, budgets, vendors, or external partnerships.
• Understanding of GxP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and validated business processes.
• Experience driving organizational adoption and continuous enhancement of technology-enabled business capabilities.
