This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify automation opportunities within patient access, coding, billing, claims management, payment posting, denials, collections, and reporting.
β’ Assist in automation planning and assess process-improvement opportunities throughout revenue cycle operations.
β’ Oversee and implement automation project plans, timelines, deliverables, and execution activities.
β’ Collaborate with operational stakeholders to prioritize automation initiatives.
β’ Monitor implementation milestones, risks, and outcomes.
β’ Conduct comprehensive process analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework, and operational risks.
β’ Standardize workflows and operational practices to create scalable automation solutions.
β’ Promote continuous improvement and workflow redesign to enhance productivity, quality, turnaround time, and employee experience.
β’ Track, project, and report KPIs related to automation performance, operational efficiency, financial outcomes, and adoption rates.
β’ Manage the implementation, testing, deployment, and optimization of AI, machine learning, workflow automation, intelligent document processing, and revenue cycle technologies.
β’ Collaborate with IT, data, analytics, and vendors concerning solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
β’ Oversee the automation lifecycle from the development of the business case through stabilization and optimization.
β’ Ensure that automation solutions comply with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
β’ Foster partnerships across operations, finance, compliance, IT, analytics, and executive leadership.
β’ Translate operational challenges into scalable automation solutions and actionable business needs.
β’ Assist in change management, training, and user adoption initiatives.
β’ Communicate project progress, risks, outcomes, and ROI to senior leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Coordinate operational teams, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementations.
β’ Provide mentorship, guidance, and subject matter expertise on automation tools, workflows, and revenue cycle processes.
β’ Facilitate knowledge sharing, documentation, and training.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, finance, operations, or a related field is required.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, process improvement, automation, project management, or related functions.
β’ 3 to 5 years of experience in leading automation projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional implementations.
β’ Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle functions, workflows, payer processes, and regulatory considerations.
β’ Proven experience in implementing automation technologies and process improvement initiatives in complex healthcare settings.
β’ Ability to support cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with operational, technical, and business stakeholders.
β’ Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Experience with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech, or similar systems is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms is preferred.
β’ Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related certifications are preferred.
β’ Experience in supporting AI-enabled workflow automation or process transformation initiatives is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and CMS regulations, is preferred.
β’ Capability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
