This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operational model of the MA Plan Command Center, which includes governance, managing the initiative portfolio, prioritization, valuation, execution tracking, executive reporting, and the ongoing enhancement of analytical and AI-driven workflows.

• Convert enterprise priorities into specific team objectives, allocate resources based on business impact and capacity, and ensure timely and high-quality support for decision-making.

• Create and continuously refine enterprise performance monitoring frameworks utilizing leading and lagging indicators, dashboards, and KPIs.

• Set analytical and quality standards while leveraging performance trends to identify risks, prioritize tasks, and inform leadership decisions.

• Drive the integration of operational, actuarial, and financial performance into recommendations for executive leadership.

• Promote responsible AI-driven analytical methodologies while upholding governance, data integrity, and financial discipline.

• Ensure analyses challenge strategic assumptions, highlight significant risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with leaders from Finance, Actuarial, Medical Economics, Clinical Operations, Revenue, Pharmacy, Product, and Analytics.

• Define ownership, decision-making rights, and accountability across initiatives; resolve conflicting priorities.

• Enhance automation, standardize processes, improve data quality, and implement AI-enabled solutions.

• Lead, mentor, and develop professionals in financial operations and actuarial roles.

• Establish priorities and performance expectations, distribute work, offer feedback and development opportunities, address performance issues, and enhance team capabilities.

• Develop reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, scorecards, risk monitoring systems, operating reviews, and sustainable talent models.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in actuarial, healthcare finance, population health, analytics, consulting, strategy, or operations.

• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.

• Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage economics, encompassing medical cost trends, utilization management, risk adjustment, provider reimbursement, or value-based care.

• Proficient in SQL and Excel.

• Strongly preferred experience with Python or R, business intelligence platforms, and modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

• Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.

• Capability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

• Experience in leading and developing senior analysts or finance professionals.

• Background in setting priorities, distributing work, providing feedback and coaching, addressing performance issues, and developing team capabilities.

• Ability to influence senior cross-functional stakeholders, cultivate trusted business partnerships, navigate competing priorities, and deliver sustained results within a highly matrixed organization.

• Strongly preferred experience applying AI to enhance analytical workflows, operational efficiency, or business decision-making.

• Preferred experience in managed care or healthcare actuarial functions.
