Senior Manager, Accounts Payable Shared Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and lead Invoice-to-Pay teams across three locations in North America.

• Foster process enhancements, coaching, development, continuous learning, and measurable outcomes.

• Examine workflows, processes, and operational metrics to identify fundamental issues and advocate for improvements within the procure-to-pay framework.

• Introduce new digital solutions.

• Guide troubleshooting, problem resolution, and collaboration to develop scalable procure-to-pay processes.

• Convert strategy into actionable operational goals, objectives, and process roadmaps.

• Ensure that accounts payable procedures adhere to state and federal regulations.

• Assist in month-end closing activities through accruals preparation and reconciliations.

• Liaise with auditors by providing necessary reports and reconciliations.

• Guarantee timely and precise audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.

• At least 10 years of professional experience.

• Proficient in ERP payables systems, continuous improvement, and team management.

• Extensive experience in accounts payable operations within mid-sized to large manufacturing firms.

• Familiarity with end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.

• High proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP software, specifically Infor Syteline ERP.

• Understanding of process improvement, business operations, project management, change management, and the implementation of automation/technology systems.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Subject matter expertise that allows for independent and reliable execution of critical functions.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively without compromising accuracy.
