This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct Invoice-to-Pay teams across three locations in North America.
• Foster process enhancements, mentorship, professional development, ongoing education, and achieving results.
• Evaluate workflows, operational processes, and performance metrics to pinpoint root causes and advocate for improvements throughout the procure-to-pay cycle.
• Assist in the adoption and utilization of new digital solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting, problem resolution, and teamwork to establish scalable procure-to-pay procedures.
• Formulate and convert strategies into actionable operational goals, objectives, and process roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance of accounts payable practices with state and federal regulations.
• Aid in the month-end closing process through accrual preparations and reconciliations.
• Communicate effectively with auditors and provide necessary reports and reconciliations.
• Guarantee timely and accurate audit processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, finance, and treasury.
• Report directly to the Vice President and Corporate Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Familiarity with ERP payable systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and leadership experience is essential.
• Significant experience in accounts payable operations within mid-sized to large manufacturing firms.
• Proficient knowledge of end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.
• High-level proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP software, ideally Infor Syteline ERP.
• Understanding of process enhancement, business operations, project management, change management, and technology system implementations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Expertise in the subject matter allowing for independent and reliable performance of critical functions.
• Proficient in handling multiple priorities and tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Capable of exercising judgment in decision-making related to job responsibilities.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and manage several projects at once.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and lead through periods of change and transformative growth.
