This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of all accounting operations from start to finish, encompassing general ledger, accounts payable, and the month-end close process.
• Ensure that financial reporting is completed in a timely manner and is in full compliance with US GAAP standards.
• Supervise the entry, coding, processing, and disbursement controls of invoices.
• Lead and develop the accounting team by setting priorities, reviewing their work, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Enhance accounting efficiency and automate manual processes through the use of financial software.
• Optimize the NetSuite ERP system and assist in the implementation of a close management tool.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accurately track expenses, adhere to processes, and fulfill deadlines.
• Provide support for foreign subsidiaries, intercompany activities, and consolidation processes.
• Ensure that financial records are accurate, complete, audit-ready, and well-documented.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and month-end close.
• Preferred experience in international accounting, consolidations, or cross-border operations.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience overseeing accounting staff directly.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Ability to navigate contemporary finance systems comfortably and quickly learn and optimize new tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to produce accurate results while consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
