This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of clients linked to the South Korea market
• Cultivate client relationships and serve as a reliable point of contact
• Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and effective service delivery
• Create account plans that align with client business objectives
• Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
• Work in conjunction with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams
• Offer guidance on entity management, payroll, accounting, tax, treasury, corporate compliance, and international business operations
• Lead regular business reviews and stakeholder meetings
• Propel upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and service expansion within GoGlobal’s service offerings
• Monitor the business landscape in South Korea, including regulatory requirements and cross-border business trends
• Handle client escalations, proactively identify risks, and ensure prompt issue resolution
• Assist in business development initiatives and regional projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Advanced degree is preferred
• Professional certifications such as KICPA (Korean CPA), AICPA, or other internationally recognized accounting, tax, finance, or compliance qualifications are strongly preferred
• At least 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a similar role within payroll, BCS, accounting, or tax
• Comprehensive understanding of HR, payroll operations, and compliance practices in South Korea
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• A commercial mindset with experience in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Outstanding client-facing skills, capable of building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service
• Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills in both English and Korean, both written and verbal
