Senior Managed Care Pharmacy Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively seek out and promote business development opportunities with both new and existing clients.

• Recognize opportunities to propel business initiatives by removing obstacles and formulating innovative solutions.

• Oversee client relationships for key pharmaceutical consulting projects.

• Sustain relationships with client business process owners and significant stakeholders.

• Define project goals, objectives, critical success factors, and metrics for success.

• Create comprehensive project plans.

• Generate presentations and reports that convey project status and complex initiatives effectively.

• Deliver engaging, informative, and well-structured presentations.

• Manage the planning and execution of assigned projects.

• Mentor and cultivate the skills of supporting staff resources.

• Communicate challenging or sensitive information with tact.

• Oversee project operations and scope, including facilitating meetings and documentation.

• Conduct project reviews and ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols.

• Mitigate risk exposure and increase awareness of items at risk.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in a managed care pharmacy environment, such as a PBM, health plan, or a similar organization.

• 10+ years of experience in developing and executing a range of pharmaceutical projects.

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Familiarity with the US healthcare system concerning benefit design and reimbursement.

• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid channels.

• Proven ability to engage with senior leadership both internally and externally.

• Proficiency in effectively communicating and presenting in both virtual and in-person contexts.

• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft O365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
