Pharmacy Technician, Prior Authorizations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for Prior Authorization inquiries from members, healthcare providers, and a wide-ranging customer demographic.

• Assess whether intricate requests should be escalated to a pharmacist for further assistance.

• Ensure thorough, timely, and precise documentation of both approvals and denials.

• Record discussions and outcomes across various software platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or call center setting.

• Capability to work remotely.

• Access to high-speed internet.

• Proficient in pronouncing medication names and diagnoses, as well as understanding medical terminology.

• Competence in navigating multiple software applications.

• Adept keyboarding skills.

• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
