This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional software support and services to Ensono's mainframe clients concerning MQ.
• Process customer service requests for mainframe z/OS clients involving MQ software products.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for reported issues with MQ software.
• Provide support around the clock, 24/7/365, across various time zones.
• Install MQ software products adhering to Ensono's standards and best practices.
• Prepare customer partitions for operating system upgrades utilizing proactive-action checklists.
• Assist with migration services for customers involving MQ software products.
• Collaborate with project managers on migrations for newly acquired customers to address technical challenges.
• Implement tasks related to customer disaster recovery plans in partnership with Disaster Recovery Services.
• Oversee schedules and resources to ensure timely implementations.
• Adhere to ITSM change-control protocols, which include applying vendor fixes and upgrading, maintaining, enhancing, or adding options to relevant z/OS products.
• A bachelor’s degree is required along with/or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform, including direct technical involvement with installation and maintenance of products related to CICS TS and OEM support.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of CICS TS functionalities and applications, including installation and customization of CICS TS and associated OEM products.
• Extensive working knowledge and experience with IBM’s SMP/E.
• Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of CICS TS concepts, configurations, and tailoring.
• Thorough familiarity with products utilized to monitor the performance of CICS TS regions.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in multitasking and performing under tight deadlines and high-pressure conditions.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM local time.
• Availability for on-call duties, overtime, and scheduled weekend work is necessary.
