This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Create agentic AI systems by designing and implementing tool-calling agents that merge retrieval, structured reasoning, and secure action execution, ensuring safeguards for security and compliance.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for open-source and foundational LLMs, incorporating retrieval, prompt synthesis, response validation, and self-correction loops for production operations.
• Integrate agents within runtime ecosystems, linking them to observability, incident management, and deployment systems for automated diagnostics and remediation with traceability.
• Work closely with production and application teams to translate challenges into agentic AI capabilities, aiding in defining objective functions related to reliability, risk mitigation, and cost-effectiveness.
• Strengthen governance by developing validator models, adversarial prompts, and policy checks, while also implementing deterministic fallbacks, circuit breakers, and rollback strategies.
• Improve scalability and performance through prompt engineering, context management, caching, and model routing to fulfill SLOs.
• Practical experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, Step Functions, SageMaker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Demonstrated software development expertise in Python, C/C++, Go, or Java.
• 5–7 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying ML systems in production, covering deployment/serving, evaluation, monitoring, data pipelines, and fine-tuning workflows.
• Practical experience with LLM API integration, prompt engineering, fine-tuning/adaptation, RAG, and tool-using agents.
• Familiarity with both commercial and open-source LLMs and their functionalities (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Llama, Qwen, Claude).
• Strong understanding of applied statistics, fundamental ML concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1/C2).
• Significant hands-on experience with Python at scale.
