AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Enhance and refine internal AI tools, platform capabilities, and features of AI-enabled products.

• Integrate AI functionalities and APIs into current product offerings.

• Develop LLM-driven solutions utilizing prompt engineering, context engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, and generative AI.

• Design and uphold AI harnesses, assessments, benchmarks, and testing frameworks.

• Implement machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, tree-based methods, and neural networks.

• Assist in establishing secure, scalable AI architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, hosting, and system optimization using AWS services.

• Work alongside product, data engineering, and software engineering teams to ensure AI projects align with business objectives.

• Monitor emerging AI technologies and promote engineering best practices.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in backend software development with a significant focus on AI/ML.

• Proficient in generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, and API integrations.

• Strong grasp of machine learning algorithms, including regression models, tree-based algorithms, and neural networks.

• Expertise in AWS infrastructure, covering EC2, S3, and networking fundamentals.

• Solid foundation in general computer engineering and networking concepts.

• Experience with AI research initiatives, LLM fine-tuning, computer architecture, CUDA, GPU parallelization, compute optimization, healthcare data, or backgrounds in high-growth tech firms/research labs is preferred or advantageous.
