Senior M&A Integrations Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage several large-scale and intricate integration projects for businesses that have been acquired.

• Convert strategic objectives into practical plans and oversee their execution across diverse teams.

• Take ownership of project charters, plans, process flows, value stream maps, resource needs, and business cases.

• Facilitate coordination among internal and external stakeholders regarding priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and decisions.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within set timelines and budget constraints.

• Recognize risks, address issues, and escalate matters when necessary.

• Guide teams through transitions without having direct authority.

• Monitor and report on project progress and financial outcomes.

• Oversee resource needs, budget performance against actuals, milestones, and results.

• Pinpoint chances to enhance integration tools, processes, and operational methods.

• Share knowledge, bolster organizational capabilities, and mentor project team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management.

• Demonstrated capability to manage several projects at once.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include weekends and late evenings.

• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

• Experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics is preferred.

• Excellent communication, listening, facilitation, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.

• Ability to organize, design, develop, and execute projects for internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Competence in collaborating with subject matter experts both internally and externally at every level.

• Background in a continuous improvement setting is preferred.

• Experience in navigating ambiguity and delivering results with minimal supervision is preferred.

• Direct experience working with customers is preferred.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with lean processes and tools is preferred.
