This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide leadership for the Distribution Center and oversee supervisors responsible for comprehensive warehousing and transportation solutions.
• Regularly interface with customers to promptly resolve issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Direct strategic operational planning and execution.
• Identify and address operational challenges through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and manage employee performance.
• Foster positive employee relations.
• Ensure effective communication within and across work groups.
• Analyze data and implement necessary actions.
• May handle profit and loss statements depending on the complexity and scope of operations.
• Champion a proactive safety program in alignment with company policy.
• Instruct on and enforce safety management plans, training, and processes.
• Monitor equipment maintenance through checklists and observations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related fields is required.
• At least five (5) years of experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports is necessary.
• Experience in analyzing data and trends is essential.
• OEM experience is preferred.
• Proven experience working across multiple teams with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills are required.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills are necessary.
• Ability to create and foster an inclusive and engaged work environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, with a high degree of organization and excellent time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred.
• At least three (3) years of Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year of customer interaction preferred.
• Must possess valid legal authorization to work in Canada.
