Senior Application Consultant, Supply Chain Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions to uncover business requirements for advanced and complex implementations, multi-phase workstreams, and large-scale projects.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design processes and set technical direction for intricate configurations.

• Implement advanced product configurations tailored to customer specifications and approved solution architecture.

• Act as the primary escalation point and manage the troubleshooting and resolution of complex configuration challenges.

• Utilize mathematical models, optimization techniques, and artificial intelligence algorithms to address complex supply chain planning scenarios.

• Validate and test solutions, gather user feedback, and make recommendations regarding escalations, obstacles, and documentation.

• Lead in-depth deployment workshops, training, and support customers in understanding configured solutions and achieving value realization.

• Offer technical guidance and advice to Associate, Entry, and Intermediate Solution Consultants.

• Mentor junior consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of extensive experience in software implementation or deployment within supply chain planning or execution, or business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a leadership role focused on system configuration or deployments.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business process design related to supply chain software implementations.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities within a team setting and a successful track record with customers and executive sponsors.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with multiple team members.

• Proficiency in conveying complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in supply chain best practices pertaining to forecasting, MRP, Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.

• Capability to lead intricate business requirements gathering sessions with customers and system end users.

• Familiarity with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder.

• Proficient in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time on average and up to 75% occasionally, and effectively work remotely from client sites.
