This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Oversee comprehensive LMS implementation, configuration, migration, integration, and optimization projects for clients in higher education and enterprise sectors.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert and reliable consultant, addressing clients' business, academic, technical, and learning needs.
• Develop and deploy LMS solutions that are in line with client goals, technical specifications, and industry best practices.
• Configure and tailor LMS environments, which include courses, user roles, permissions, workflows, assessments, reporting, and system settings.
• Execute, configure, migrate, and enhance platforms such as D2L Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard, Open LMS, and Moodle.
• Manage LMS migrations, upgrades, integrations, testing, deployment, and post-implementation processes.
• Design and facilitate integrations with SSO, LTI, APIs, SIS integrations, and other enterprise systems.
• Lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, design solutions, engage in technical discussions, and plan implementations.
• Oversee testing, troubleshooting, quality assurance, issue resolution, and go-live processes.
• Create implementation plans, technical documentation, configuration guides, training materials, and project documentation.
• Offer training, mentoring, and support to LMS administrators, instructors, clients, and internal team members.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with requirements.
• Identify opportunities for LMS enhancement, automation, process improvement, and increased adoption.
• Engage in client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions as a senior LMS and EdTech consultant.
• At least 7+ years of professional experience in LMS implementation, administration, consulting, or related roles.
• Over 5 years of solid experience with LMS platforms.
• Proven expertise in D2L Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard, Open LMS, and Moodle.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end LMS implementations, migrations, configurations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of LMS architecture, administration, user management, permissions, course structures, assessments, reporting, workflows, and system configurations.
• Proven experience with LTI, SSO, APIs, SIS integrations, and third-party educational technology integrations.
• Strong ability to lead client discovery sessions, collect requirements, define solutions, and provide strategic insights.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting complex LMS technical and functional issues, leading to resolution during implementation and post-go-live phases.
• Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation, implementation plans, configuration specifications, training materials, and process documentation.
• Strong project ownership skills and the ability to independently manage multiple implementations, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting abilities.
• Experience in working with higher education institutions, universities, corporate learning environments, EdTech companies, or educational technology projects is highly desirable.
• Capability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting setting.
• Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) are required.
