This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Establish relationships with families and assist them in caring for their aging loved ones.
• Connect families with one or more Brookdale communities or other suitable resources.
• Support families in their search for senior housing or home-based assistance.
• Identify communities and resources that align with each family's specific needs.
• Encourage potential clients to visit Brookdale communities and arrange appointments.
• Update the status and information of customers and potential customers in databases.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with requirements.
• Cultivate leads that are not yet ready to be referred to a community.
• Provide information and engage in follow-up conversations to progress leads.
• Make outbound calls and send emails to refresh prospect information.
• Schedule follow-up activities and community visits for potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with community sales and operations associates as an extension of their sales team.
• Engage in interactive training, coaching, and culture-building activities across the department.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• Preferably two years of experience in sales, pre-sales, inside sales, or appointment setting.
• Related experience in the healthcare sector or call centers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the aging process and the needs of older adults across all product lines.
• Proficient in using personal computers and related software.
• Capable of managing time, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to present Brookdale as a fulfilling organization that meets the needs of seniors.
• Skilled at assessing and understanding customers’ expectations, needs, and circumstances.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with effective listening abilities.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, or nights if necessary for shift coverage.
• No specific certifications, licenses, or other special requirements are needed.
