This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the migration to Linux and Vulkan.
β’ Bridge the gap between different graphics backends.
β’ Ensure that correctness is verifiable.
β’ Analyze and enhance performance on Linux.
β’ Play a role in shaping the rendering roadmap.
β’ Collaborate across multiple layers of the stack.
β’ Actively utilize AI tools.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in real-time graphics or engine programming, with at least one product that you successfully brought to market.
β’ Hands-on production experience with Vulkan β not merely as a side project.
β’ Proven track record of shipping graphics software on Linux and comfort operating within that environment from start to finish.
β’ Highly effective in a large, real C++ codebase with a robust build system and continuous integration.
β’ Established ability to profile a frame, identify the genuine bottleneck, and resolve it.
β’ This position begins with a challenging problem and limited precedent to rely on.
β’ Capable of explaining a complex graphics tradeoff to a non-graphics engineer in five sentences.
