This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for a range of dealer services.
• Establish service scope, service levels, packaging, and pricing inputs.
• Convert dealership realities into priorities for product and delivery teams.
• Enhance the uptake of existing dealer services within the Canadian dealer network.
• Develop best-practice processes for lead response, follow-up, appointment setting, show rate, and sales-floor handoff at dealerships.
• Specify applications of AI-driven tools such as intelligent chat, voice assistants, predictive lead scoring, and automated follow-ups.
• Streamline the dealer and shopper journey from initial contact through to appointment, sale, and ongoing service.
• Collaborate with AI and data science teams to establish requirements, validate outcomes, and expand successful solutions.
• Create business cases and go-to-market strategies for new dealer services in Canada.
• Define service delivery models, conduct pilots with early dealers, validate results, and scale operations.
• Equip sales teams with positioning materials, pitch documents, ROI stories, and competitive analyses.
• Outline onboarding processes, delivery playbooks, and quality standards.
• Work alongside engineering, AI/data science, UX, marketing, sales, and delivery teams.
• Align roadmaps with the Cars Commerce and dealer technology ecosystem.
• Lead by influence across teams that are not directly managed.
• Ensure stable operations and responsive support processes.
• Monitor service quality and dealer satisfaction while addressing retention risks.
• Define and track KPIs including adoption, recurring revenue, dealer retention, appointments, show rates, sales, and campaign ROI.
• Build relationships with internal teams, dealerships, and partners.
• Communicate updates on progress, performance, successes, and risks to leadership.
• Over 7 years of experience in dealership operations or a dealer-facing position.
• Practical expertise in at least one area such as BDC, F&I, or service and customer retention, with familiarity in the others.
• Demonstrated success in launching or expanding a service sold to dealers or revitalizing a dealership department with measurable outcomes.
• Strong grasp of dealership economics and capability to construct a straightforward, credible business case.
• Proficient user of dealer CRM and DMS tools.
• Ability to lead through influence within sales, delivery, and product teams.
• Experience utilizing AI and automation tools in a dealership or dealer-interfacing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; organized and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Experience in the Canadian automotive retail sector.
• Must reside in the Montreal or Quebec City area.
