Senior Kubernetes Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Creation and management of production Kubernetes clusters

• Troubleshooting critical and complex technical issues related to Kubernetes solutions

• Deployment of applications on Kubernetes clusters

• Secure management of Kubernetes namespaces on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Management of secrets and implementation of security protocols

• Configuration and management of Ingress Controllers and cloud-native load balancers

• Management of storage components within Kubernetes

• Implementation and optimization of Kubernetes networking

• Setting up resource quotas and efficient resource utilization

• Establishing monitoring and alerts using Grafana and Prometheus

• Collaborating with stakeholders on architecture and operations

• Working within a Scrum/Kanban team and contributing to the DevOps culture

• Utilizing HELM, Ansible, and Terraform for deployment and infrastructure management

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in creating and managing production Kubernetes clusters

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and key concepts

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Knowledge of HELM, Ansible, and Terraform

• Experience with monitoring and alerting for Kubernetes clusters

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• CKA and CKAD certifications are a plus, but not mandatory
