Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and manage systems utilizing Java and other JVM-based languages

• Collaborate with microservices and APIs utilizing Spring Boot and Node.js

• Update and improve legacy systems created with Struts, Servlets, JSP, and PrimeFaces

• Implement containerization of services using Docker and Kubernetes

• Execute data-stream processing with Kafka/Kafka Streams

• Adhere to software engineering best practices, focusing on quality, testing, readability, and maintainability

• Engage in a technology transformation initiative and co-develop innovative solutions for clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related discipline

• Proven experience in software engineering, particularly with Java and/or JVM-based languages

• Proficiency in developing and managing systems using Java, microservices, APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js), and legacy systems (Struts, Servlets, JSP, PrimeFaces)

• Familiarity with service containerization through Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift

• Experience in data-stream processing utilizing technologies such as Kafka

• Dedication to writing clear, well-tested, and maintainable code

• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
