Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the architectural solutions for enterprise applications.

• Oversee technical design initiatives and assist in implementation across various distributed teams.

• Contribute to the modernization and transformation of intricate legacy systems.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and perform optimally.

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Support the entire software development lifecycle for delivery.

• Advocate for engineering best practices and architectural standards across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise software development and architecture.

• Strong foundation in Java (Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE).

• Expertise in database design and development (PostgreSQL).

• Proficiency with Eclipse RCP, SWT, and JFace.

• Experience with WildFly Application Server.

• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and Azure DevOps is advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns.

• Ability to lead the modernization of legacy systems and technology roadmaps.

• Comfortable collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
