Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create software solutions utilizing Java within an AWS Cloud environment

• Design and manage microservices based on Spring Boot

• Engage with both relational databases and NoSQL technologies

• Execute serverless/containerized deployments and adopt cloud-native architecture

• Employ TDD/JUnit, Git workflows, domain-driven design, and automated CI/CD pipelines

• Facilitate offshore delivery operations from India

• Provide coverage during overlapping hours with US Central Standard Time when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of practical software development experience with Java (preferably Java 11/17+)

• Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, and microservice ecosystem patterns

• Extensive knowledge of relational databases such as AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL

• Strong expertise in NoSQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra

• Advanced understanding of AWS cloud services, serverless/containerized deployments, and cloud-native architecture

• Established experience in TDD/JUnit, Git workflows, domain-driven design (DDD), and automated CI/CD pipelines

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

• Located in IST, with the ability to accommodate overlapping hours with US Central Standard Time (CST) when needed

• Practical experience with event-driven messaging systems such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS/SNS (considered a plus)

• AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (considered a plus)
